Happy FriYAY friends!! It's time for #fridayintroductions! If you're new around here, I'm Jen, a wedding and lifestyle photographer! I love live music, yoga and green juice! I just got back from an incredible eight day road trip out west where I hiked miles of National Parks in Arizona, Colorado and Utah and I'm always waiting with packed bags for my next travel adventure (t minus 10 days)! I love design blogs and just recently finished a year (way too) long renovation on my first place. I had so much fun designing my dream space (mixed in with plenty of stressful moments, don't get me wrong) and can't wait to share some good styled shots of it as soon as all the boxes are cleared! Your turn! What are your hobbies and interests? #findyourpark#nps#arches
now accepting donations to get this guy a "get well soon" card and balloon #getwellsoon

We can skip right over spring and get to summer, I'd be okay with that. (Quick iPhone snap from some adventures in Montana last summer)

Well hi there spring 😃 so yesterday night we arrived in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria and I'm already in love by how nice people are here. Everyone is so cheerful and just randomly starts chatting with you.
I went to a little market here and bought lemon and ginger for my morning infusion and a local lady asked me how I'm using ginger. She was all interested in how it strengthens your immune system and has an anti-inflammatory effect. So lovely, love the vibe here in the city. 💕
By the way, for everyone else that is traveling a lot, I have a new session about how to stay healthy while traveling, meaning how to keep the balance between trying local dishes and nurturing your body. And if you digestive system easily gets irritated while you're on the road, I'll give you several natural alternatives to meds to balance it. Check out link in my bio for more info 😊

"I don't know how you house the sin
But you're free now
I was never sure how much of you I could let in
And I'm free now
Won't you settle down baby here your love has been
It's definitely lava
Why you don't carry other names?"
Yesterday was #NationalPuppyDay...and I loved seeing all the throwback photos of so many beloved doggos in their early months of life...but as I looked down at Dagwood asleep by my feet, I got kind of sad.
I have no idea what Dagwood looked like as a puppy. He was well over a year old when we adopted him and he's looked the same ever since we brought him home.
His puppyhood was nothing but a montage of being adopted, given up on, and returned to the concrete walls of his shelter stall time after time after time...
I'm sure someone out there has a photo of him...has a memory of his floppy ears and his oversized clumsy puppy paws...but I'll never see it.
But to those dog parents who didn't get to see the sweet puppy faces of their beloved dogs...to those dog parents who stood at the shelter and chose the old one with the sad eyes instead...to those dog parents who came into their pup's world somewhere in the middle instead of the beginning...I offer you this: You don't always have to know how it started to know how it ends. 🐾
