If there's one thing I recommend auditing, it's your decision making strategy - specifically your "why". .
For a large part of my life, I made choices that I thought would lead me down a successful path but only according to other people's criteria of success. I didn't have an "opinion" on many things. And when did, I buried it if it contradicted even slightly with those around me. I observed what others deemed acceptable and made that the standard I "should" live up to.
Here's the actual issue. There is a great deal of strength in numbers which is why change and adaptation can be difficult. Crowds and large group don't change collectively as a unit. Change usually occurs within an individual and overtime can potentially be passed around micro segments.
It wasn't until I realized just how unhappy I was that the root of the issue actually occurred me. I wasn't making any choices that were true to me. I was very much in a way idle and working towards building a life that felt distant.
Ever since I met @joshbryanfitness I realized very quickly that he has a way of bringing out certain qualities in me. One of which is the desire I have to be true to myself. Whenever I begin to withdraw or shy away from allowing myself to feel a certain way, he reminds me of my capability and what he's witnessed me accomplish over the past 2 years. He encourages me not to do XY&Z but rather to act in a way that feels intuitive. This is just one of the many reasons I love him like I do.
Trusting myself and my instincts has made every aspect of my life that much more satisfying and has allowed me to become aware of what weakness can potentially hold me back. If there's one thing I encourage you to figure out right now, it's why you're doing whatever it is you do. What is your drive? Do your actions support your goals? Because if they don't, then change them. It IS that black and white. If there are obstacles preventing you from working towards your goals, address them. .
There is no excuse to build your life any differently than you actually want it. If you can begin to believe you have a choice in all of this, then you've taken the first step.
