I stretch my whole body, I find some really important areas for muscle growth are feet, calves, hands, forearms and neck.
This one helps to keep the area from getting too stiff and allows my arms and hands to move in a nice natural way even when I'm lifting weights. It decreases the horrible lactic acid burn in forearms and hands and let's more oxygen and blood flow.
I'm super bendy and flexible so this is comfortable for me to use these movements, it may take time to build up to this.
My routine for my hands goes like this. 👌Massage hands and forearms to get a little heat and blood flow 👌 a little stretch of all my fingers, all together and then 1 by 1, holding each stretch for a few seconds 👌 I stretch the thumb away from the palm towards the wrist. 👌Then I move into my wrist and forearm with a couple of varied stretches
I also sometimes do some body weight work to allow my wrists to slowly get used to bearing some weight. I have super small joints so it's really important I take care of them around my heavy lifting 💪💪 #stretch#yoga#healthyjoints#flexible#oxygen#lifting#bodybuilding#trainsmart#fitness#dance
