•Shortfall of funding to the Great Barrier Reef•
A recent report shows that there is a lack of funding by the current government to help the Great Barrier Reef get back to full health. Currently the reef is dying due to warming ocean temperatures, increased acidity as a result of increased carbon emissions, and poor water quality due to heightened runoff from farming. If we want to preserve our reef we must support leaders who stand for preserving the natural world.
Here is a photo I took off an island in Thailand. This is one of the local Green Sea Turtles who is struggling to find food amongst a sea floor which is filled with bleached coral. Such a beautiful bay from above was such a dismal sight below the surface.
If we don't see some big positive decision making at the political level, it is only a matter of time before our sea life suffers the same consequences.
Funny story about this hike.
I remember about 2 years ago, a guy I was following @rickycollier uploaded an incredible photo from this point and I realised how beautiful the country of New Zealand was. His image inspired me to reach a goal of travelling...and I eventually got here, making this hike pretty special to me.
So her you have classic Roy's peak in all its glory ⛰📍

hep var olan bir şeyi görmeye sabah demişiz,görmemeye akşam.zamanı böylece ölçüp bir ömür sayıyoruz kendimize..zaman sen yavaşladığında oluştu ve unuttun zamansızlığı..
