Yoga is not about perfection, it's about progress. Over the last year, my practice has completely changed. Yoga taught me to be mindful, patient, and a balanced person. I've noticed a difference in my strength, flexibility, stability, and mobility after 2 years of practice. There are plenty of things that I can do now that I could not even do a few months back. One of them is the Handstand.
It took me one year of on and off practice because I can't really seem to stand on my hand. I even celebrate small successes which includes able to do tuck jumps only to find myself doing it the wrong way (trust me, I have videos!). True enough, recording my simple progress helped me to identify what needs to be done. I've consulted some of my Yoga instructors to get their opinion and tips. Falling on my head, hand and elboes became normal to me. By failing at my goal over and over again, I somehow learned to be gentle to myself and towards the people around me.
As of now, my handstand is not yet there. I'm just taking my time and enjoying my journey. Sooner or later, I can post a better video with correct form.

▶️ 2 YEARS PROGRESS : SPLIT! ◀️
Split has always been one of the poses I thought I could never do. When I started practising I was avoiding it as much as I could because it was making me feel so frustrated. I remember that I bought @jessicaolie 's ebook @letsstartyoga mostly for it ( I knew she had a flow and tips about split on it) but I was still working on it rarely. Then I met @martina__rando and we started practicing together and seeing her doing a split every now and then made me wanted to work on it again. 🙏🏼
So I started focusing on it back in May, using Jessica's tips and flows from the ebook, the knowledge I got from the teacher training that I was doing at the time, and Martina's tips and encouragement.❤
Thanks to all of this, my patience and constante practice I finally managed to do it 🎉🎉 It's not perfect yet, but I don't care at the moment 😂 baby steps! 🙏🏼 I'm just happy and I will not stop working on it now ❤
This little story is just to tell you : YOU CAN DO IT! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, RESPECT YOUR BODY AND BE PATIENCE 💁🏻 PRACTICE AND ALL IS COMING! ❤🙏🏼 ______________________________________________________
